I checked out an Adobe® EPUB eBook on a mobile device, but there is no 'Download' button for the title. How can I download the eBook?

Although Adobe EPUB eBooks can be checked out at the mobile edition of our website, DRM-protected Adobe EPUB eBooks cannot be downloaded directly to mobile devices. In order to read Adobe EPUB eBooks on a Sony Reader PRS-505 (or newer), you must first download Adobe EPUB eBooks to your computer and then transfer them to the device using Adobe® Digital Editions.

Note that as of March 2009, Adobe discontinued Adobe Reader support for Adobe eBooks. The Adobe eBooks available at this site require Adobe Digital Editions. For more information on Adobe eBooks and Adobe Digital Editions, please visit http://overdrive.naperville-lib.org on your computer.

If you cannot find the information you are looking for with reference to our Help section, please email support. In order to facilitate troubleshooting, please include the following information in your correspondence:

  • Steps to reproduce the problem
  • Exact text of any error message
  • URL(s) of any error page(s)
  • Library card number
  • Title(s) of problem download(s)
  • Make and model of mobile device
  • Operating system (Windows Mobile® 6, PalmOS® 5, etc.)
  • Internet browser and version
